COMPETE IHSAA Football State Tournament Information

State ranked Adams Central will be on the road to face Wes-Del, the Warriors are 5-2, one of their losses was to South Adams three weeks ago 35-0. They also were shut out in their other loss 39-0 to Monroe Central. One of their wins this season was over Tri-Village (Ohio), which is a first year program.

South Adams will travel to Prairie Heights to open Sectionals, the Panthers are 0-7 on the season and have been shut-out in five of their losses. They lost to Churubusco 73-0. The Starfires have one common opponent with Prairie Heights, Woodlan. The Panthers lost to them 53-0, South Adams will play them this Friday night.

Last second shot by Jill Froning for unranked Celina wins the game over Ohio's #1 rated Pickerington (were also rated in USA Today Top 5)...Celina went on to win the Ohio D1 State Championsip game. Game was played at Bellefontaine HS, Dave Schmidt doing the play-by-by for Celina Cable TV.
