MIDWEST ATHLETIC CONFERENCE 2016 ALL–CONFERENCE FOOTBALL TEAMS

(11-3-16) The Midwest Athletic Conference announced their 2016 All-Conference Football teams.

Marion Local Linebacker Jack Homan was named Defensive Player of the Year, Homan was also named to the 2nd unit Offense as a Running back.

Minster Quarterback Jared Huelsman was named Offensive Player of the Year and was named as a 2nd Team Outside Linebacker as well.

Coldwater's Neal Muhlenkamp was named 1st team Receiver on Offense, 1st team as a Safety on Defense and 1st Team as a Kicker.

Co-Coach of the Year honors went to Marion Local's Tim Goodwin and Coldwater's Chip Otten, after leading their teams to a share of the MAC title.

1991 Ohio High School Regional Championship basketball game. Last second shot by Jill Froning for unranked Celina wins the game over Ohio's #1 rated Pickerington (were also rated in USA Today Top 5)...Celina went on to win the Ohio D1 State Championsip game. Game was played at Bellefontaine HS, Dave Schmidt doing the play-by-by for Celina Cable TV.
